On Sunday 13th July, the day of both the Wimbledon final and FIFA Club World Cub, we still managed to attract a very appreciative crowd in Bovey’s Bell Inn’s lovely beer garden.
An even more important event, however, was the celebration of our Frankie’s twins, who turned 18 that very day. As part of their birthday celebrations, they even decided to come and watch our performance, together with dad and their sisters. Word has it they enjoyed themselves.
GC3 was also on top form – here’s a glimpse of them through the garden’s foliage.
In between sets, a reboot power nap got one of us through (right Sue? 😉). It was more than worth it as she nailed her powerful solo for ‘Take me to the River’!
We’ll be back at the Bell Inn on Saturday 30th August for our 3rd and final summer gig at the pub.
In the meantime, however, we will be looking forward to singing on the main stage at Bovey’s Picnic in the Park this Saturday 26th July at around 16:30! See the line up below 👇.
